Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Due to the nature of our products, all hair extensions, wigs, and bundles are final sale once opened or installed. For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns on any hair that has been worn, altered, colored, or removed from its original packaging.

Custom or special orders are also non-returnable. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please reach out to us at contact@melaninmiinkshair.com with any questions before purchasing.

Exchanges

We want you to love your hair! If you received the wrong item or there was an error on our end, we're happy to make it right. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery at contact@melaninmiinkshair.com with your order number and photos of the item received.

Please note that due to hygiene standards, we are unable to process exchanges on opened or installed hair. If you're unsure about a texture, length, or style before purchasing, don't hesitate to reach out we're happy to help you find your perfect match before you order.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know once the refund is approved. When approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
